About Gene Maltsev

Gene is a successful team lead, negotiator, and real estate developer that built one of the most successful NYC-based luxury rental teams in all of New York City. He began his real estate career during the latter throws of the Covid pandemic, where, at the time, residents were fleeing the city for greener pastures. Over the next 5 years, he’s born witness to the various ups and downs of the market, while navigating a volatile interest rate environment. A lot of the experiences built over that time span have allowed him to identify opportunities that others might have missed.

 

Aside from real estate, Gene is a serial entrepreneur that, in his prior life, ran several successful startups, one of which was called Classical Oasis. There, he founded and operated an events/entertainment company that partnered with large commercial property developers, retailers and operators while, at the same time, employing elite college-level student musicians from top music conservatories around the US. In fact, one of his former musicians was even featured on America’s Got Talent.

 

Nowadays, Gene lives in South Brooklyn and, in his spare time, plays tennis, ping-pong and is learning Spanish (just don’t ask him to conjugate anything).
