About Jini Van Maarseveen

Jini has lived in the South, North, and Center areas of Park Slope and now resides in Gowanus. Over the years, she has watched the community grow and transform, with the addition of numerous new residential buildings, restaurants and other small businesses. Originally from Los Angeles, Jini spent several years in Tokyo, where she worked and studied Japanese language and culture, prior to making her way to the charming Brooklyn neighborhood. Along with her professional experience and familiarity with the neighborhoods, the dedication that Jini provides to every prospective buyer or seller she works for makes her an ideal choice. She is able to cater to the specific needs of her clients and makes sure attention is given, and provides an abundance of support.

 

Combined with her past real estate experience, she has a strong foundation for sales and leasing. Jini first worked in commercial real estate before transitioning into residential work. She has extensive experience in residential leasing with top developers in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Being at a top real estate firm as a relocation specialist exposed her to the many aspects of buying and selling in New York City. She has an eye for design and detail that perfectly complements her sales skills. In addition to real estate, Jini has worked in Finance and Marketing. Residing in Brooklyn with her husband and son, as a Park Slope parent, she has plenty of experience navigating the local school and childcare systems and is familiar with the many ways that parents can keep their children active and entertained. She is conversant in Japanese and Korean, enjoys traveling ,and keeping up with current events in her community
